After two years leading Harry’s HAT as Chair of Trustees Teri, has stepped down and Harri Mead takes up the reigns.
On Monday the 6th of March which appropriately is the start of Hydrocephalus Awareness Week, Harri took on the role of Chair. Harri said “It’s impossible to adequately summarise how much Teri has achieved during her tenure as Chair. Teri has driven the Charity forward with phenomenal passion and expertise, whilst designing communication collateral of the highest standard. I am delighted that Teri will remain on the Board as a Trustee, and that the Charity will continue to benefit from her insight. I look forward to continuing our mission of making life better for children who are affected by hydrocephalus, and their families, alongside our fantastic team”.
We are also delighted to welcome Louise Fleming to the Board of Trustees. Louise has supported our work for two years and is Mum to Lucas who has hydrocephalus. Louise brings the perspective of a parent whose child has transitioned into secondary and who has sadly endured many more brain surgeries than birthdays.
These amazing women gift their time, passion and drive to the charity. They bring their own experiences and perspectives to the table and are not afraid to challenge. As today is International Women’s Day we want to say thank you for giving your time to make life better for others, we are so lucky to have you!
