On Thursday 10th July 2025, we will again be calling for people from across the globe to come together to shout about why measuring a baby’s head circumference can help to spot serious health conditions such as hydrocephalus.
Please share the graphics and tag #GlobalGetAHead on our feed, telling the world why the Get-A-Head campaign is so important. Please make sure you use the hashtag so we can find your post and reshare.
We have developed some graphics, for Facebook, Instagram and Twitter which you can use. So together we can flood social media with information about baby head circumference measurement matters in 2025!
SHARE YOUR WHY
We are also asking you to share a 15 second video, telling the world why you support Global Get-A-Head Day. Please record this in portrait mode.
Please start with the phrase “I support Global Get-A-Head day because…” and then tell us why you believe baby head circumference measurement is important.
Top tips for a great video from journalist and Lead Communications Trustee, Victoria; “for optimum quality, try recording in a well-lit room or ideally outdoors with natural sunlight on your face.”
Please email your video to info@harrys-hat.org and we will share as many as possible. Our aim is to put together a reel in support of the campaign, highlighting why baby head circumference measurement could save a life.
We want to thank you for supporting the day and want to provide another opportunity to get people talking. So, if you participate in the day and tag us on social media you can request your free tote bag, which displays Global Get-A-Head Day. To do this you will need to email: info@harrys-hat.org and let us know you have posted about the event, using the #GlobalGetAHead hashtag. Please make sure you provide your address so we can send the bag to you! (For supporters outside of the UK, we will ask you to kindly cover the cost of postage)
