WHY I LOVE THE AMBASSADOR PROJECT: I want to raise awareness of hydrocephalus and make it more known/out there.
ONE THING THAT I WOULD LIKE EVERYONE TO KNOW ABOUT HYDROCEPHALUS IS: that it is not something that can just be fixed, that having a shunt doesn’t make this “fixed,” it just sorts it out for as long as the shunt doesn’t get blocked.

HOBBIES: street dance, acting.
WHY I LOVE THE AMBASSADOR PROJECT: I like being an ambassador because I want to help people who have hydrocephalus. I struggle everyday and I can understand how the struggle can bring you down. If I can get the message out there to children like me-that they are not alone I can help at least one person and it will make me very happy.
ONE THING THAT I WOULD LIKE EVERYONE TO KNOW ABOUT HYDROCEPHALUS IS: all parents with hydrocephalus children like us live a very worrying life, my mum says to me that it will make her go grey before her time to be grey!

HOBBIES: singing, dancing, looking after my pets, I have an axoloti, 2 cats and a dog.
WHY I LOVE THE AMBASSADOR PROJECT: I would like others to know all about hydrocephalus and what it means to have it. I want to raise money for the charities that help to raise awareness.
ONE THING THAT I WOULD LIKE EVERYONE TO KNOW ABOUT HYDROCEPHALUS IS: it makes me who I am and without it I would be someone different. I wish people understood that sometimes I feel tired or want to take some time away, it doesn’t mean I am grumpy or not your friend.

WHY I LOVE THE AMBASSADOR PROJECT: I think it is a great opportunity to share my experience of being diagnosed and living with hydrocephalus. It is also a great way to help others and spread more awareness.

WHY I LOVE THE AMBASSADOR PROJECT: To help my brother and other children like him, to meet other children like me and to help other children that have siblings with hydrocephalus.

HOBBIES: gaming on my Xbox and watching one piece, which is an anime series.
ONE THING THAT I WOULD LIKE EVERYONE TO KNOW ABOUT HYDROCEPHALUS IS: It’s not always easy and not many people understand it.
REASONS FOR BEING AN AMBASSADOR: To make others with hydrocephalus feel like they are not alone.

FAVOURITE COLOUR: lilac.
FAVOURITE FOOD: that’s a tough one. I always wake up after surgery craving a roast, I can taste it! I love Chinese as well.
HOBBIES: going to the theatre and looking after my cat Jasper.
REASONS FOR BEING AN AMBASSADOR: I want to raise awareness and understanding of what hydrocephalus is. The effects it has on us young people that have it and our families. I want to support other children so they don’t feel alone and hopefully answer any questions they have.
ONE THING THAT I WOULD LIKE EVERYONE TO KNOW ABOUT HYDROCEPHALUS IS: it’s not easy to live with, it brings many struggles to everyday life. It affects us all very differently. Emergency hospital admissions affect the whole family and we miss out on so many things because of them. Hydrocephalus can’t be cured and shunts can be very temperamental. It’s made me who I am today. The experiences I have had have made me strong and determined.

WHY I LOVE THE AMBASSADOR PROJECT: I want to help raise awareness for parents and children that go through this, as it’s very hard to live with. It can make you very poorly. By helping raise awareness I hope it makes them feel that they are not alone in this.
ONE THING THAT I WOULD LIKE EVERYONE TO KNOW ABOUT HYDROCEPHALUS IS: HYDROCEPHALUS AND SHUNT HAPPENS, BUT IT DOSEN’T DEFINE ME! I am a warrior, after living with this for 12years. I am strong and determined and brave. To anybody living with this, you are not alone. We’re all fighters that don’t give up. On your good days enjoy the things you love, on the bad days relax and spend time with your family.
Always remember everyone is unique-keep fighting!
