HydroAssist

Hydrocephalus Association

We have been working in partnership with the Hydrocephalus Association, to make the HydroAssist App relevant to a UK audience.

You can use the App to record details of your child’s shunt and/or ETV, record symptoms, uploaded medical letters and imagery such as MRI and/or CT scans and diarise appointments.

You can also grant permissions to different members of your family and/or child’s carers including schools/ childminders etc, so they can view the information but can’t edit the information.

The ‘find a doctor’ section is clearly marked as for the US only.  To find a list of paediatric hydrocephalus hospitals in the UK click on resources section on the App and the link to the list will come up.

You can download the app from the App Store / Google Play.

HC & ME

Miethke

The HC & ME App is a digital hydrocephalus diary, which is independent of Harry’s HAT.  On this App you can comprehensively document your life with hydrocephalus and everyday life with a shunt which can be helpful for tracking symptoms.
