The Matthew Good Foundation charity donation

We were one of five charities shortlisted from over 400 applications for the Matthew Good Foundation.  The Foundation is supported by the family company, The John Good Group and was set up to honour the memory of Matthew Good who died whilst running a marathon for charity in 2011.  Matthew was the 6th generation to work in Group, which has been in business for over 185 years and is still family owned.   We are delighted to say that we won the vote!  A generous grant of £3500 is now winging its way to Harry’s HAT.

We a proud that this grant, in Matthew’s name, will be used to help fund our book ‘I wish I’d known that’.  When completed, the book will help families whose children have just been diagnosed with hydrocephalus.  We are hoping to add a note to Matthew in our book.
