We were delighted when Jo from Beauty Banks popped over with a car loaded to the rafters with personal care products.
Being in hospital with a sick child is isolating, overwhelming and scary. Often just taking five minutes to have a shower or even clean your teeth is the only escape a carer gets from the chaos and noise of the ward. It’s a moment to collect your thoughts, think through questions you want to ask and take back just a little control. Unfortunately, many families arrive the hospital in an emergency and often without personal care products-this donation will be used to help families who need a little support during this challenging time.
We are now busy packaging up the products so that they can be donated to wards and to families who request them. Please do message us if you know of a hydro-family or hospital ward who could benefit from a free package. We’ll send them in a Harry’s HAT tote bag with a colouring book for the little one too!
