Introduction

Hi, my name is Steph and I am a mummy to a hydro-warrior called Rueben. He is two years old but has been on quite a journey. He was born at 23 weeks and due to bilateral brain haemorrhages, he has acquired hydrocephalus. He is a very complex little boy with lots of other medical needs too – including cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Despite his many challenges, we love to make life fun and engaging for Rueben. My little page will share some of the activities and adventures we get up to. We hope to inspire other families to enjoy life and make lots of positive memories. I hope to share tips on how to make life a little bit easier and to give examples of how we navigate life with complex needs.
