The AJ Bell Great Birmingham Run is the Midlands’ biggest and best running event – and in 2026 it returns with the Half Marathon and 10K once again taking over the heart of the city. With thousands of runners pounding the streets each year, this is a high-energy, feel-good event that brings Birmingham to life.
Starting and finishing in the city centre, you’ll soak up the incredible atmosphere from start to finish. Expect cheering crowds, music along the route, plenty of high-fives, and that unforgettable finish-line moment where you can truly bask in the glory of your achievement. Whether you’re tackling the Half Marathon or the 10K, this is a brilliant race day experience for runners of all abilities.
The 2025 event was a complete sell-out – making charity places a fantastic opportunity to secure a spot on the start line.
Charity Places Available
We have:
- 5 charity places in the Half Marathon
- 5 charity places in the 10K
Runners are asked to pledge a minimum fundraising target of £200 to secure their place. In return, you’ll receive a running vest and full support with your fundraising journey.
Raise £500 or more and you’ll also receive a Harry’s HAT Big Bobble Hat or bucket hat as a thank-you for your amazing effort.
